The first Minnesota State Fair grandstand show has been announced for 2026, and it's a good one! Not going to lie to you, I love the Great Minnesota Get-Together, but a lot of the time their grandstand shows are 'meh'.

But this one, I think, will be highly attended, and people will be super excited about it. Also, I feel like this is the earliest the state fair has ever announced a grandstand show.

Weird Al is going to be taking over the grandstand stage at the Minnesota State Fair in 2026! He'll take the stage on Friday, August 28th.

I'm super excited about this announcement. I definitely want to go to this show, and I would think other people will be just as excited as me.

It's true, he's an icon. My age group grew up with his comedy remakes of songs. I mean, 'White and Nerdy' is a CLASSIC.

If you want to see Weird Al do what he does best live, tickets for the grandstand show go on sale this Friday, November 21st at 10 AM.

Tickets are quite reasonably priced, too, especially considering how ridiculously expensive concerts have gotten lately. Regular, reserved seating tickets are $54 - $89.25. Tickets for the Party Deck are $74 - $87.75.
