What to Eat at the Steele County Fair

The Steele County Fair in Owatonna runs from August 16th through the 21st and is historically one of the best county fairs in our listening area. In addition to the rides and games, there are always a ton of great fair food items to choose from.

Let's start with the deep fried items:  You could get Deep Fried Alligator, Deep Fried Cauliflower, Deep Fried Chocolate Chip Cookies, Deep Fried Corn Nuggets, Deep Fried Green Beans, Deep Fried Green Tomatoes, Deep Fried Grill Cheese Sandwich,Deep Fried Ho-Hos, Deep Fried Olives, Deep Fried Peanut Butter Cups, Deep Fried Pickles, Deep Fried Pizza Rolls,Deep Fried Snickers,Deep Fried Strawberries, Deep Fried Twinkies or Deep Fried Oreos.

Other items at the fair that caught my eye include: Chinese Buffet on a Stick, Beer Stick, and Alligator Sausage.
