Are You Brave Enough to Zip Line Across the Mississippi River this Winter?

The Bold North Zip Line will surely cure the cabin fever that ails you. Over 4,000 people have already signed up to glide nearly 800 feet across the Mississippi River. The attraction, part of the Super Bowl festivities taking place in Minneapolis, will be open from Jan. 26th - Feb. 4th.

According to mnsuperbowl.com: The Bold North™ Zipline will be operated by Ziptrek Ecotours, a global leader in zipline based adventure tours. Ziptrek specializes in urban ziplining and operated a similar zipline experience for Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis. A parallel 4-line set up will allow four riders at a time to travel 750 feet across the Mississippi River with fun-seekers traveling at speeds of 20-30 mph as they glide across the Mississippi River. 

I hate being cold and I'm not a fan of heights so I'll pass. If you're interested you're going to have to get tickets on site. Online tickets sold out in less than 36 hours but walk up tickets will be available. Tickets are $30.
