Samm’s App of the Day – Amour!

Yesterday I downloaded an amazing app that put me a step closer to a HUGE thing on my bucket list! I was eating dinner with my family and we were discussing traveling. My sister in law told me about this app, which is going to make traveling to a different country MUCH more enjoyable. 

If you came to my house, you'd be like "man, you REALLY must have loved your trip to Paris." I'd respond "I've never been there!" For whatever reason, for as long as I can remember I've had an obsession with Paris. A psychic once told me I lived there in a past life (if you believe that stuff). Traveling to Paris has been on the top of my bucket list for quite some time. Unfortunately it's not just one of those trips you spontaneously take - it's one you plan and save for.

I told myself I wouldn't go until I could at least speak SOME French. I debated on my options: take a class at the college or invest in an at home learning tool like Rosetta Stone. Either way, it was money from my pocket, and time from my clock that I couldn't quite invest yet.

Now I don't have to worry about either!! The app Duolingo is FREE, and you pick how much time you want to invest. Since I've decided that this trip will be my 30th birthday present, I have a few years to learn!!
