A Sign of Warmer Weather Has Appeared in Red Wing
We Minnesotans look for all sorts of reasons to believe that the warm weather is here to stay. A couple of pictures shared by the Red Wing, Minnesota Fire Department recently, to me, is a good sign that the warm weather is here to stay! We're all ready for summer!
The Old Farmer's Almanac has said that they think we'll get snow at the end of April, the week of April 23rd to be exact, but I refuse to believe it. If you haven't seen that story, you can read the Old Farmer's Almanac prediction for April HERE.
One reason I refuse to believe that prediction is obviously because I don't want to. I don't want snow in spring, I like warm weather and I want it to stick around! But another reason I refuse to believe it is because the Red Wing Fire Department shared on their Facebook page that they put their boat out on the Mississippi recently in preparation for the warmer weather.
Like I said, any sign that it's warming up or that the warmer weather is here to stay, Minnesotans get very excited, even if it's the Red Wing Fire Department putting their boat out on the water.
While we're all really excited for the warmer months of spring and summer, it's a process to get there, and some of the things we have to go through in the spring are a little... gross. Like all of the mud we have to deal with! Keep scrolling to check out 11 things that happen in the spring that Minnesotans don't like.
