Another Day, Another Recall
Ford, living up to their nickname - Found On Road Dead. I kid, I kid. I'm from a small town, and that was always the line used in the heated Chevy Vs Ford debate. I'm still on the Ford side of that battle, just for the record.
In all seriousness though, Ford is recalling nearly 1.5 million Ford Focus cars for issues with a valve in the engine that can cause the vehicle to stall without warning.
According to USA TODAY, the recall affects 2012 through 2018 model-year Focus with 2-liter GDI and 2-liter GTDI engines.
If you drive a Ford Focus made between those years, you should take it into your dealer as soon as possible. In the meantime, Ford warns drivers to keep your fuel tanks at least half full until it is fixed.
Not getting the issue fixed could cause further damage to your fuel tank Your local dealer will fix the recall issue for free.
