Sierra Nevada Brewing is recalling bottled beer in nearly three-dozen states, including Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa.

The nation's second-biggest-selling craft beer says some 12-ounce bottles have a flaw that could allow glass to break and fall inside the bottle. The recall applies to Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale and seven other varieties bottled at the company's brewery near Asheville, North Carolina.

So far, Sierra Nevada says it hasn't gotten any customer complaints or reports of injuries from the problem bottles.

If you bought one of the packs of recalled beer, you’re advised not to drink it, and Sierra Nevada says it will give you your money back – for more information click HERE.

But if you are feeling brave, you could always just strain the beer with coffee filters as you poor it into a separate glass, instead of drinking it straight from the bottle.
