If you're looking to try some of the best ballpark food in the U.S., you don't have to drive very far to get your hands on some here in Minnesota.

Food and concession items at sports arenas and stadiums have come a long way from the days when you could pretty much only get a hot dog or some popcorn. You'll find some great-tasting gourmet offerings at stadiums around the country. And some of the best ballpark food in the country is right here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.

The crew over at grilling and cooking site smokedmeatsunday.com just crunched the numbers since Major League Baseball's Opening Day last week (April 7th-8th) to find out which stadium had the most talked-about and Tweeted-about food.

Specifically, they compiled a chart based on positive sentiment tweets and Instagram posts about ballpark food since Opening Day. For example, Tweets and posts tagging Target Field, T-Mobile Park, Yankee Stadium, etc. that are also about enjoying ballpark food.

And Minnesota's own Target Field came in second on the list, with 4,973 social media posts raving about the food and drinks available at the home of the Minnesota Twins. In fact, the stadium that was ranked first (the Seattle Mariners and T-Mobile Park) came in with just 76 more positive posts than Target Field.

The fact that the food at Target Field is getting rave reviews shouldn't really be a surprise. The Twins have really upped the food and drink game over the past 12 seasons since Target Field opened. And, just a few weeks ago, they unveiled some brand new foods available this season, as well.

Here are the rest of the stadiums that have the best ballpark food, according to the smokedmeatsunday.com survey:

1. T-Mobile Park (Mariners) - 5049 posts
2. Target Field (Twins) - 4973 posts
3. Yankee Stadium (Yankees) - 4523 posts
4. Chase Field (Diamondbacks) - 4284 posts
5. Citizens Bank Park (Phillies) - 3876 posts
6. Citi Field (Mets) - 3783 posts
7. PNC Park (Pirates) - 3672 posts
8. Dodger Stadium (Dodgers) - 3264 posts
9. Globe Life Field (Rangers) - 2856 posts
10. Petco Park (Padres) - 2703 posts

Speaking of the Twins, keep scrolling to check out the house below which was owned by former Minnesota pitcher Glen Perkins. It's pretty amazing!
