Are you hip with the latest text abbreviations and text lingo? As we get older, we start to get a bit out of the loop when it comes to what's cool, what's not, the latest trends, etc.
It seems like new text abbreviations are being created every day, though, and it can be hard to keep up! Thankfully we have this handy thing called the internet that can help us out when we don't know what something means.

A site called Unscramblerer analyzed Google search trends between May 2024 and the beginning of 2025 to see which text abbreviations are the least understood across the country, and also in Minnesota specifically.
For example, they looked at searches like 'what does SMH mean?' to decide which text abbreviations are confusing people the most.

SMH = shake my head
