A lot of the time when you treat yourself to a dinner out that typically includes an adult beverage. Maybe a glass of wine. And I don't know about you, but when I pick a wine I don't really know what I'm doing.

I kind of know what I like but especially when it comes to the 'notes' of a wine, I'm a little lost.

So if you're looking for a place to go out to dinner where you can confidently get a nice glass of wine, I've got you. Wine experts have announced the best restaurants in Minnesota for wine, and we've got quite a few!

Wine Spectator's Best Restaurants Awards

Every year the Wine Spectator comes out with their annual awards of the best restaurants for wine.

There are three levels of awards: Award of Excellence, Best of Award of Excellence, and Grand Award.

In order to determine if a restaurant is qualified for an award, and which award the restaurant gets, Wine Spectator looks at many factors:

"To qualify for an award, a wine list must present complete, accurate information, including vintages and appellations for all selections. Complete producer names and correct spellings are mandatory, and the overall presentation of the list is also considered."

So if Wine Spectator gives the restaurant an award, you know you'll have an awesome list of wines to choose from!
