Rochester Man Accused of Nearly Running Over Another Man
Stewartville, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man was arrested Friday in Stewartville after reportedly trying to hit a person with his car.
An Olmsted County patrol deputy spotted 35-year-old Jerry Milliken sitting in a parked car and became suspicious because of his criminal background, which includes a narcotics case.
While watching Milliken, the deputy saw him begin driving away and moments later swerve his car at a man who was walking on the street.
The deputy pulled Milliken over and discovered some methamphetamine in his vehicle.
A spokesman says Milliken knows the man he nearly hit and that the two are involved in an ongoing dispute over a woman and other issues.
