Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man has been sentenced to more than 25 years in prison after being convicted of raping a woman.

Sentenced Wednesday was 36-year-old Antonio Howard.

The criminal complaint filed against Howard says he knew the woman he was accused of assaulting. The woman says Howard had been smoking synthetic marijuana before he raped her. Howard told investigators it was consensual sex.

An Olmsted County jury convicted Howard of 1st and 3rd-degree criminal sexual conduct in April.
