Rochester Fire Station Back in Service
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester’s Fire Station Number 3 located near Cascade Lake on 2nd Street SW was temporarily knocked out of service due to a large water main break.
The rupture happened below the main entry/exit to the building, which means the firetrucks weree unable to leave due to the threat of a driveway collapse.
RPU made repairs to the pipe and the station was put back in operation about 10 a.m. The fire trucks will have to drive over a gravel driveway until the concrete can be repaired.
