There's something called the "Teal Pumpkin Project" going on this Halloween.  Have you heard about it?

To partake is VERY easy.  You put a pumpkin in front of your place that's painted teal-green.  And you don't just hand out candy... you offer things like stickers, temporary tattoos, and glow sticks.  Stuff like that.

That way, kids with food allergies know they can trick-or-treat at your place and get stuff that's SAFE.

It's supposed to make Halloween more fun for kids with crappy allergies, and also way less stressful for parents.

It was around last year too, but it's gaining more traction now.  And if you need ideas for stuff to hand out, just google "Ideas for Non-Food Treats."

If you go on Pinterest, there are a bunch of "blue pumpkin" decorating ideas.

For more information, go to TealPumpkinProject.org.  Also, here's a list of more alternatives.
