It's not truly a summer in Minnesota until you've been out on the water. And there's a spot where you can get your float on while also enjoying margaritas and delicious tacos.

That sounds like a great time to me! We'd better start planning a trip.

Or even spending time at the beach I'll count as 'time on the water'. It's close enough in my opinion.

We have to soak up as much sun as possible while we got this nice weather! And one company is making it really easy to do that while spending time on the water AND drinking margaritas.

Minnesota Margarita Cruise

Padelford Riverboats in St. Paul have many different themed cruises that you can hop on throughout the summer and fall. One of those is called Margaritas on the Mississippi.

It's exactly as it sounds: a cruise where you get to drink margaritas. Sign me up!

On the cruise, you'll get chips and salsa plus a taco bar. Your ticket includes the food but not your drinks. However, the cash bar offers a 2-for-1 margarita deal.

Tickets are $36.91 per person for an hour-and-a-half cruise on the Mississippi River. You can board the boat starting at 5 PM but it doesn't depart until 6. You'll enjoy time out on the river and then you'll be back at the dock at 7:30 PM. That sounds like an awesome way to spend an evening!

The cruises only happen on Wednesdays and Thursdays and I'd imagine they'll start to get booked up as the summer goes on, so start making plans with your friends!
