“Sad Papaw” is Now Happy Thanks to Massive BBQ

Since then the grandkids have all apologized and even Papaw has since admitted that he didn't do such a great job in relaying the message about supper that night either.

Well those same grandkids who stood up their grandfather decided to throw one heck of a party for him! On Saturday the 66-year-old held a cookout at his family's flea market in Purcell, Oklahoma, and invited the entire Internet!

As expected, hundreds of fans and well-wishers showed up to eat burgers, get their photo taken with the now happy Papaw and even buy 'I had a burger with saw Pawpaw' hats and T-shirts.

Papaw said he only expected about 400 or 500 people to show up.... But it turns out that more than 1,500 did! Looks like Papaw is kind of a big deal... But at least now he's HAPPY :)
