The grandfather who stole hearts online after cooking burgers for his grandchildren only to have just one show up has a reason why no one showed...

As it turns out, the reason no one showed up to dinner with Papaw might have had less to do with not appreciating gramps and more to do with a lack of effective communication.  Not everybody got the news about supper that night!

This is a pretty understandable.  I mean let's be real, chances are Papaw isn't schooled in the latest forms of communication and was probably depending on word of mouth or the like to get all his grandkids over for dinner.  Maybe he doesn't know about group chat yet?

In any case, all seems to be forgiven between him and his grandkids because apparently he's having a giant cookout THIS weekend -- and everyone is invited!  Here's what one of kids grandchildren posted to the Interwebs over the weekend...

While I'm certainly glad the Internet's official grandpa is getting the love he so deserves, this party being thrown by his grandchildren might not be the best idea if it's indeed real.

Posting your address to the masses like this can be dangerous and could invite a lot more trouble than it's worth.  Sure, it's sweet the kids are showing their love for their beloved Papaw... but they might also be cashing in on their 15 minutes of fame and using him for money and fame.

What do you think: Is it a good or bad idea to throw a GIANT barbecue?
