St. Olaf College Professor Competes on Jeopardy! Today
Later this afternoon a new episode of Jeopardy! will air but it's a pretty special episode for those of us in southern Minnesota. That's because one of the contestants is an assistant professor at St. Olaf College!
Her name is Hilary Bouxsein. She's a visiting Assistant Professor of Classics at St. Olaf this year. Hilary is also a 2009 graduate of St. Olaf College, just another reason to tune in this afternoon and cheer her on. St. Olaf shared the exciting news that she'll be on today's episode on their Facebook page.
A little bit more about Hilary, after graduating from St. Olaf in 2009 she went on to receive her Master's in 2011 and her Ph.D. in 2016 from the University of Virginia. She then became a Lecturer of Classics at Texas A&M University. She has now been teaching at St. Olaf since 2017. On St. Olaf's website, they say that Hilary "specializes in ancient Greek poetry".
If you want to catch Professor Bouxsein on Jeopardy! today, one commenter on St. Olaf's Facebook post shared that the episode airs at 4:30 PM on NBC.
