On average six teens die in car crashes every day, while thousands more are injured. In our line of work, we have to report way too many awful stories with tragic endings. Here's the best way to keep your teen driver safe on the road.

According to a study done by safekids.org, "when parents and teens discuss rules for driving and come to a formal agreement, whether spoken or written, teens are less likely to engage in risky behavior while driving. Even though we think our teens are not listening or find us boring, they are watching, listening, learning and following our lead."
